FALL IS APPROACHING!

Its been too long since Ive thrown out a Fishing Report or any social media posts for that matter. I will try and stay on top of it this Fall and Winter. Between building our house, guiding, traveling and spending time with the kids, time has not been on my side, but we have been making some memories! I want to thank everything who fished with me this Summer for Smallmouth Bass. It was very welcoming to have another great summer of angling after a really low return of Steelhead this Spring. I am anticipating much better fishing this Fall with "back on track" numbers. The Smallmouth fishing was solid this May and June, maintaining high number days pretty much every day. A few 20 plus fish hit the net and LOTS of healthy fish and bait in the system. Fly Fishing with streamers and poppers, and light spin fishing plastics is top dog each year and the funnest way to fish them with lots of visual eats! Here are a few of the more notable ones from this summer.

I took the boys camping on the river this summer and they had a riot. We got into the Skamania Steelhead pretty good one morning along with some Trout and Smallmouth. Looking forward to doing it again soon! Here are a few fish pics, along with some from the St. Marys river in Sault Ste Maria chasing Atlantic Salmon and Whitefish.

Im looking forward to fishing this Fall and making memories and experiences with everyone. King season seems to be better and better each year. I appreciate everyone booking and rebooking with me this season. All morning trips are booked for Kings in September but there are still some half day evenings available 4pm-dark throughout the month. I still have acouple dates open for October Steelhead on the Manistee, as well as November Steelhead on the Grand and Muskegon rivers.
